Japan: Enoshima

Dave took me to Enoshima, on the train of course. I love the cobalt blue clay roof tiles you see as you leave the city centre.

Someone took the trouble to put little metal birdies on this barrier in Fujisawa, so someone else took the trouble to crochet them little blue jackets and hats.

Dragon and palm tree.

Beware of hawks !!

The island of Enoshima, which is connected to the city of Fujisawa by a 600 meter-long bridge.

Dave loves being photographed about as much as I love being photographed.

Enoshima.

More hydrangeas.

Daylillies growing on a cliff face.

Vending machine cat.

Cool sink at Dave's favourite pub/yakitori place.
